∙ A general health check-up camp for all the women of SAMC campus and SVYASA  campus was conducted with the association of Department of Prasooti tantra and Stree  roga of our institution and Mahila Prakoshta of Vishwa Ayurveda Parishath.  ∙ Free haemoglobin check-up was done and the response was good. 

∙ Grand felicitation programme was conducted for three senior lady workers of the campus for their selfless work. 

∙ The gathering was addressed by Dr. Nagarathna – Medical Director, Arogyadhama,  SVYASA; Dr.M.K.Shridhar-Registrar,SVYASA; Dr.B.R.Ramakrishna-Director  SAMC&H; Dr. Sangamitra-Principal SAMC&H and Prof. Dr.Netravati- Principal Sushrutha School of Nursing. 

∙ The content of the guest speech was this year’s theme “Women in leadership:  Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world” role of women in various aspects of  life, importance of a woman as mentioned in great classics like Vedas, Upanishads, Soundarya lahari and other works of Shri Shankaracharya.  

∙ Overall the programme was successful.
