On the eve of Azadi ki Amrit mahotsav, Department of Prasooti tantra and Stree Roga, SAMCH, conducted a Guest Lecture on the topic ‘Uttara basti and its clinical utility’ for third year and Final year BAMS students .
The program began with the prayer by students. Dr. Amrutha R Prabhu welcomed guests and also introduced Dr.Premraj Khairnar. He explained various practical aspects of Uttara basti and its application in various conditions of Stree Roga. The highlight of the program was his elaborate explanation on Pharmacodynamics and mode of action of Female Uttara basti and Male Uttara basti and his new discovery on retention Uttara basti.
The program was concluded with the felicitation to the guest speaker by Academic Dean and vote of thanks was rendered by Dr. Ranjitha BM.
Overall the program was very helpful and well appreciated by the students.
