Sushrutha Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital has a proud legacy since its inception in 2002. Founded with the vision of making Ayurvedic healthcare accessible to the rural population, our institution has always aimed to provide holistic, traditional healthcare solutions that are both effective and affordable. In a world increasingly dominated by modern medical practices, we remain committed to preserving and promoting the time-tested principles of Ayurveda, which offer natural healing without side effects.

Affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), we offer the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) program, which spans 5 ½ years and follows the curriculum prescribed by RGUHS.

Our journey began in the heart of Bangalore, where we initially catered to a small group of students. However, as the demand for quality Ayurvedic education grew, we expanded our reach. To accommodate the increasing number of students, the college relocated to the spacious and serene Prashanti Kutiram campus on the outskirts of Bangalore, within the S-VYASA campus. Here, we offer state-of-the-art infrastructure, including modern classrooms, transportation, and hostel facilities, ensuring that students have a conducive environment for learning and personal growth.

We are pleased to announce that, in addition to the increased intake for our BAMS course from 50 to 100 students, Sushrutha Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital has taken significant steps forward in advancing Ayurvedic education. The college has upgraded its academic offerings by introducing additional postgraduate courses in Kayachikitsa (General Medicine) and Dravyaguna (), further enriching the learning experience for our students.

Furthermore, we are proud to share that our institution has recently received the prestigious A Grade accreditation from QCI-NABET-NCISM (National Commission for Indian System of Medicine), a recognition that speaks to our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of education and healthcare. This accreditation is a testament to the excellence of our faculty, infrastructure, and overall educational approach.
